This is a guideline to establish consistency across pages on the wiki.
Basic guidelines[]
- For infoboxes, each weapon page should use Template:Infobox weapon, each armor page should use Template:Infobox armor, and so on.
Naming[]
- Pages about named elements in the game, such as mobs, weapons, enchantments, or status effects, should be named as close to how the game presents the element, including capitalization. For example, the Hunter's Armor is presented as "Hunter's Armor" in game, so the page should be named "Hunter's Armor" and not "Hunters' Armor" or "Hunters armor" as the latter two are not how the game presents the name of the item.
- Pages about items that can be carried in the inventory should default to having the first letter of all words capitalized if an explicit name presentation is not available, as this is the presentation of the majority of items in game.
- In cases where there are multiple topics that have the same name, separate pages are to be created for them. For example, since there are multiple swords named Sword in the game as well as the sword being a type of weapon in game, separate pages must be created for the page. The weapon type page should be named "Sword", the page about the common Sword should be named "Sword (common)", and the page about the rare Sword should be named "Sword (rare)".
